A BIBLIOMETRIC REVIEW OF THE LITERATURE ON TEAM COACHING IN THE BUSINESS WORLD

Abstract: In the context of increasingly dynamic organizational environments, characterized by frequent changes in how teams are structured, operate, and perform, interest in team coaching as a strategic organizational intervention in the business world has grown significantly. This paper provides an analytical analysis of the scientific literature on team coaching in the business world. This paper examined 329 publications indexed in the Web of Science database between 1994 and 2025, using quantitative and bibliometric analyses and a range of methodologies. These included citation, co-citation, and keyword co-occurrence analyses. The aim of this analysis was to identify patterns of knowledge production and the intellectual structure within the field. The findings highlight the most influential journals, authors, and articles, as well as the key relationships among research topics. Moreover, as the paper indicates, emerging trends and gaps in the literature were identified. Furthermore, offering a structured and accessible overview of the evolution and current state of team coaching in organizations, and how it can support academics in advancing theoretical development and guide practitioners in applying evidencebased coaching interventions. The paper also underscores future research priorities in the relevant literature.
