Aims and Scope

The Journal The Annals of the University of Oradea. Economic Sciences (AUOES) is a scientific publication, with an international status. The Journal is published by the Oradea University Press / University of Oradea Publishing House under the aegis of the University of Oradea, Faculty of Economic Sciences. At the initiative of an group of specialists, based on an editorial and scientific committee with a wide international coverage, including leading figures in the field of Economic Sciences, in 2011 was published the first issue full in English of The Annals of the University of Oradea. Economic Sciences. The printable format (2 issues per year) is supported by the on-line version.

The journal aims to publish relevant contributions in the field of the Economic Sciences, namely in the following main areas: Accounting, Audit, Banking, Business Administration, Corporate Finances, Economic Informatics and Cybernetics, Economic Statistics, Economics, EU Sustainable Economic Development and Competitiveness, International Economics, European Integration, Foreign Languages for the Business Environment, International Business, Management, Marketing, Public Finances, and Tourism, as well as other related areas, standing out through originality and scientific contribution to the knowledge and development of these areas. An important objective is to promote academic and applied research based on an inter- and/or multi-disciplinary approach, with a complex local, national, regional and global focus, by providing this way the opportunity for scientific debates and collaboration on the broad range of relevant fertile areas associated to recent trends in the field of the Economic Sciences.

The content of the publication is intended for a heterogeneous community made of students, teaching staff, researchers and practitioners showing research interest in the areas mentioned above, and where the synthetic approach can contribute substantially to a more sustainable economic development and growth. Therefore, academic researches, post-doctoral researches, PhD researches, case studies and work-in-progress are welcomed approaches. The journal meets the international requirements concerning the publication norms and ethics.

 

Mission and Policy Statement

AUOES is the University of Oradea – Faculty of Economic Sciences’ journal that strives to provide timely communications on economics and business issues of interest to the academic members and scholars, as well as to the business / real economy practitioners.

The AUOES is designed to be accessible in an OPEN ACCESS format and to act as a catalyst in fostering dialogue around the application of such developments as they impact economic and business outcomes research information, the formation of economic, finance and monetary policy, and the delivery of solutions to a more sustainable economic development and growth.

The AUOES contains both the articles / manuscripts received and accepted after the double-blind review process (please, see also our Review Policy) as described in the ARTICLE SUBMISSION section of this website, and the selected articles presented and accepted for publishing (also after the double-blind review process pursued by our Editorial Board) at the scientific communication sessions and the annual conference, organised by the University of Oradea – Faculty of Economic Sciences (i.e. EINCO conference), as well.
